Our Blooming Good Garden

We need a volunteer to help us with our garden.  Even though we say so ourselves, it is a blooming good garden.  Our garden caresses two sides of our centre here at NDRC, where members and staff alike can relax on pleasant days and enjoy the many colourful and beautiful plants that populate its various areas. There is a preparation area that includes a large greenhouse, a mature area with fairly large trees and attractive under-planting and a contemplative area where many flowers brighten beds where several bench seats allow visitors to take their ease whilst they appreciate the beauty around them.

When it is in prime condition our garden can be stunning, yet such is the pressure on members of staff that sometimes the necessary weeding and strimming aren’t done as often as we’d like. Volunteers are always welcomed at NDRC and anyone with some gardening knowledge who could volunteer to maintain our garden once or twice a week would be equally welcome.
