Tall ships welcomed on Wear

Sunderland acted as hosts to the many splendid craft that entered the Tall Ships Race this year and last week they were welcomed to the River Wear.  Hundreds of thousands of interested people visited the vessels and their crews and with the weather so accommodating it surely must have been a very successful event.   Read More

Canvas Brightens Our Centre

The Art Group at NDRC, has skilfully completed the new canvas that was first posted on NDRC’s Facebook back on the 10th May. It is carefully decorated with coloured paper to depict a beautiful arrangement of bright blooms and spearhead shaped leaves. This large canvas is now on display within the Centre.       Read More
